General Questions

What makes Reviv Beauty different from other med spas?

Reviv Beauty is a boutique practice led by Kristen-Anne Thomas, FNP-BC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience — she personally performs every treatment. We’re an authorized Juvéderm provider with 140+ five-star Google reviews, we’ve been featured in My Sanford Magazine, and every price is published on our website — no hidden fees, no surprises at checkout, and never a med-spa-mill experience.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Consultations are always free at Reviv Beauty. For first-time injectable patients, a brief consultation is built into your appointment to review your goals and medical history and map a personalized plan. Some patients prefer a standalone consultation first; others book directly for treatment — either works.

Is Reviv Beauty accepting new clients?

Yes! We’re welcoming new patients from Sanford, Lake Mary, Longwood, and throughout Central Florida. The fastest way in: text (407) 534-9178 and we’ll get you scheduled.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards, HSA/FSA cards for qualifying treatments, and cash. For larger plans we offer financing through Allē Payment Plans, PatientFi (no down payment — your first payment lands about 30 days after treatment), Cherry, CareCredit, and Alphaeon Credit. We also accept Allē rewards on every Allergan treatment. See our financing page for details.

Do you accept insurance?

Cosmetic treatments are elective and not covered by insurance. HSA and FSA funds can often be used for certain wellness services, and we provide detailed receipts on request. For medical weight loss, your prescription is filled through the manufacturer’s program or your own pharmacy — where insurance and savings cards may apply to the medication itself.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes — digital gift cards in any amount, delivered instantly. They work toward any treatment or product. Get a gift card here.

Wrinkle Relaxers

Botox & Tox Questions

How much does Botox cost in Sanford?

Botox is $9.99 per unit at Reviv Beauty — published, transparent, and well below the Central Florida average. A typical frown-line treatment runs 20–30 units; full upper face is commonly 50–64 units. See the Botox page or our price guide for exact numbers.

How long does Botox last?

Typically 3–4 months. First-timers may notice it wearing off slightly sooner (around 2–3 months), while regular patients often see longer-lasting results as treated muscles weaken over time. Most patients rebook every 3–4 months to stay ahead of movement returning.

How many units of Botox will I need?

It depends on the area and your muscle strength. Common ranges: forehead lines 10–30 units, frown lines (the “11s”) 15–30 units, crow’s feet 12–24 units total, lip flip 4–8 units. During your free consultation Kristen assesses your anatomy and gives you an exact unit estimate — before anything is injected.

Does Botox hurt?

Most patients describe it as a mild pinch lasting a few seconds. We use ultra-fine needles and can add ice or topical numbing if you’re sensitive. The whole visit takes about 10–15 minutes.

When will I see Botox results?

You’ll start noticing change within 3–5 days, with full effect at 10–14 days. We recommend waiting the full two weeks before judging your final result.

What’s the difference between Botox and Daxxify?

Both are botulinum toxin type A. Daxxify is stabilized with a peptide instead of human serum albumin and is the longest-lasting option we carry — results can hold up to six months for many patients, which can mean two visits a year instead of three or four. At Reviv, Daxxify is the same $9.99 per unit as our Botox, so the choice comes down to your goals, not your budget.

Can Botox be reversed?

No — unlike hyaluronic-acid fillers, botulinum toxin can’t be dissolved. It simply wears off over 3–4 months. That’s one more reason conservative, precise dosing matters — and why fillers, which can be dissolved with ultrasound guidance, are a different conversation entirely.

Juvéderm & Biostimulators

Dermal Filler & Lip Filler Questions

What brands of filler do you use?

We’re a Juvéderm-exclusive practice — the full Allergan collection, from Volbella and Ultra for lips to Voluma for cheeks and Volux for jawline. One premium hyaluronic-acid family means Kristen knows exactly how every product behaves, every syringe earns Allē rewards, and each formulation is matched to its FDA-approved area. For collagen-building we also carry the biostimulators Radiesse+ and Bellafill. We chose depth over a scattered menu — and our results show it.

How much does lip filler cost?

Our Mini Lip Plump — 0.55 mL of Juvéderm Ultra XC, just over half a syringe — is $350 and is the most popular first-timer option. Full syringes run $599 (Ultra XC) to $645 (Volbella XC) and $700 (Vollure XC), depending on the look you’re after.

Does lip filler hurt?

Every Juvéderm XC product has lidocaine built in, and we apply topical numbing cream 15–20 minutes before injection. Most patients rate it 3–4 out of 10. Watery eyes during injection are a normal reflex, not a pain signal.

How long does filler last?

It varies by product and area: lips about 9–12 months (a high-movement area), cheeks with Voluma up to 2 years, chin and jawline 12–18 months, under-eyes often 12+ months. Metabolism, sun exposure, and training intensity all play a role.

What areas can be treated with filler?

Lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, under-eyes (tear troughs), smile lines, marionette lines, temples, and even a non-surgical nose job. Each area uses the Juvéderm formulation designed for it.

Will my results look natural?

That’s the entire philosophy here: refreshed, never overdone. Kristen starts conservatively and builds gradually — you can always add at a follow-up, but subtlety is much harder to walk back. You’ll talk through your goals at a free consultation before anything touches your face.

Can filler migrate?

It’s uncommon when product selection and technique are right — but yes, poorly placed filler can migrate (a “shelf” above the lip is the classic sign). If it happened elsewhere, we can fix it: we’re the only practice in Sanford offering ultrasound-guided dissolving, so we can see exactly where old filler sits before correcting it.

Can filler be dissolved?

Yes. Hyaluronic-acid fillers dissolve safely with hyaluronidase (Hylenex) — $325 per vial at Reviv, with ultrasound guidance included. The Clarius HD3 ultrasound lets Kristen target only the filler that needs to go. We treat our own patients and rescue work done elsewhere. Learn about filler dissolving.

Beyond Injectables

Kybella, Microneedling, Peels & Skin

How many Kybella treatments will I need?

Most patients need 2–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart; significant submental fullness can take up to 6. At your free consultation we’ll assess your anatomy and give you a realistic estimate. More on Kybella.

Is Kybella permanent?

Yes. Kybella destroys fat cells with deoxycholic acid — a molecule your body already makes — and once those cells are gone they can’t store fat again. Significant weight gain can enlarge the remaining cells, so a stable weight protects your result.

What is Kybella recovery like?

Expect swelling, possible bruising, and numbness under the chin for 5–10 days — the “bullfrog” phase is normal and means the treatment is working. Results appear 4–6 weeks after each session.

How many microneedling sessions do I need?

Most patients see their best results with 3–6 SkinPen ELITE sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart — 3–4 for glow and texture, 5–6 for acne scarring. Collagen keeps building for 3–6 months after each session.

What’s the downtime after microneedling?

Redness like a mild sunburn for 24–48 hours. Most patients are back at work the next day. Skip actives (retinoids, vitamin C, acids) for 5–7 days afterward.

Do you offer PRP microneedling?

We offer something newer: Ariessence Pure PDGF+, a pharmaceutical-grade growth factor at 300,000× the concentration found in a PRP draw — with no blood draw at all. It layers into your SkinPen session for amplified collagen response without the needles-and-centrifuge step.

Which chemical peel is right for me?

We carry the medical-grade SkinMedica peel line — Illuminize for a gentle first-peel glow, Vitalize for pigment, tone, and fine lines — plus PRX-T33, a biorevitalization treatment that builds collagen with no visible peeling and no downtime. Kristen matches the peel to your skin type and goals at a free consultation. Compare peels here.

What is Skinvive?

Skinvive by Juvéderm is an injectable microdroplet skin booster — not a filler — that hydrates skin from within for a lasting glass-skin glow. It’s $365 per syringe, with multi-syringe protocols for full-face treatment.

Wellness

Medical Weight Loss & Wellness Questions

How does your medical weight loss program work?

Our program is $99/month for complete Rx management: Kristen-Anne prescribes brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound, you fill it through the manufacturer’s own pharmacy program (often with dramatic savings-card pricing), and your monthly fee includes in-office B12 and Lipo-Mino shots, body-composition tracking, and side-effect management from a provider you can actually text. Full program details.

Do you use compounded semaglutide?

No — brand-name only. The FDA shortage that allowed compounded GLP-1 copies ended, and we made the call early: FDA-approved, manufacturer-sealed Wegovy and Zepbound with a traceable supply chain, so your dose never depends on a compounding pharmacy’s inventory. It costs less than most patients expect through manufacturer self-pay programs.

What’s the difference between Wegovy and Zepbound?

Wegovy (semaglutide) is a weekly GLP-1 injection with FDA approval for weight loss and cardiovascular risk reduction. Zepbound (tirzepatide) targets GLP-1 and GIP receptors — the newest generation, and for many patients the stronger weight-loss response. Kristen helps you choose based on your health history, goals, and insurance.

Do you require blood work before starting?

Baseline labs are recommended so you start safely and we can track your health as the weight comes off. You can use your primary care provider, or book our in-office comprehensive health panel with a human review of every biomarker.

Do you offer IV therapy?

Yes — RevivIV runs seven signature drips at a flat $149, from hydration and immunity to energy blends, plus quick IM wellness shots between visits.

Glow Club members book deposit-free. The rest of your payment is handled at your visit, where we can apply your Allē rewards, current offers, Cherry financing, or gift cards.

Yes — every consultation at Reviv Beauty is complimentary, with zero obligation to book treatment.
